Upton Bay Care Home, opening in March 2021, will provide high-quality residential care to older people, as well as care and support for individuals living with dementia. Catering for 68 residents, Upton Bay is ideally located just a drive from beautiful Poole Quay, as well as plenty of local shops, restaurants and parks.
Our contract decorating services
We were tasked with decorating the care home’s 68 bedrooms, as well as the en-suite bathrooms, back of house rooms, kitchen, communal areas, as well as the on-site hairdressing salon. We’ve worked with numerous care homes in the past and knew that it was vital to provide finishes that were attractive and welcoming, as well as durable and easy to keep clean.
For this reason, we chose to use Dulux Trade Diamond Matt paint on the bedroom walls as it creates a durable, washable finish that will stay looking great for many years to come. Water-based and environmentally friendly, this paint contains unique stain repellent technology that prevents stains from setting.
Throughout the other areas of the care home, we applied luxury vinyl wall coverings. These not only offer a stunning finish but can be quickly and easily wiped clean to keep them looking fantastic.
This project took five months to complete and was finished on time and within budget.
